What does a restaurant website cost in Brussels in 2026?

For a Brussels restaurant, a custom website from a small provider usually costs between €750 and €3,000 to build, plus the domain name and hosting. Do-it-yourself tools cost less upfront but take time every month; traditional agencies often start above €2,000. Here is the breakdown, item by item.

Three ways to get a website, and what they cost

The ranges below come from comparisons published in 2026. They vary with the provider and the work involved.

  • Do it yourself (Wix, Squarespace and similar): a subscription of a few hundred euros a year, plus your time. Fine to get started, but the result often looks like a template, and keeping it up to date is on you.
  • A freelancer or small agency: roughly €800 to €3,000 for a 5 to 10 page brochure site. That is Cliko’s category, at €750 to €1,200.
  • A traditional agency: €2,000 to €15,000 and more, with a team, meetings and often features a neighbourhood restaurant does not need.

What you actually pay for, item by item

  • The build: design, menu, pages (home, menu, gallery, contact, events). This is most of the budget.
  • The domain name: for a .be, DNS Belgium charges resellers €4 excluding VAT per year; the retail price ranges from a few euros to around twenty euros a year depending on the reseller.
  • Hosting: a few euros to around twenty euros a month for a brochure site, according to the comparisons. Some providers include it.
  • Updates: changing the menu, the hours, a photo. Depending on the provider, included, billed per change or part of a subscription.
  • Translations: in Brussels, a site in FR, NL and EN is close to essential. They are sometimes charged on top.
  • Third-party tools: your booking or ordering tool has its own subscription, separate from the site.

Why a restaurant site costs more than a tradesperson’s

A tradesperson can manage with one good page. A restaurant needs a readable menu that is easy to change, photos that make people hungry, reliable opening hours, often an events or private-hire page, and three languages. More pages, more content to shape, so a price towards the top of a small provider’s range.

What to check before you sign

  • Who owns the domain name? It should be in your name, or transferred to you if you leave. See our guide who owns your website.
  • Is there a compulsory subscription, and for how long?
  • What does a change cost? Updating the menu four times a year should not cost a fortune.
  • Are the languages included?
  • What happens if you stop? Do you get the site files?

Cliko, in figures

At Cliko, a restaurant website costs €750 to €1,200, paid once: 40% on order, 60% at launch. We buy and manage the domain name and hosting, the site is in English, French and Dutch, and changes are requested with a simple message. No compulsory subscription. It is all on the pricing page and on our restaurant website page.

Frequently asked questions

Is a €300 restaurant website serious?

It can be, for a simple page on a standard template. Check what is included: languages, updates, domain ownership, and what each menu change costs.

Should I budget for photos?

Good photos make a huge difference for a restaurant. Many owners start with good phone photos in natural light and invest in a photographer later.
